I discover this amazing warm and delightful drink believe it or not just last winter on St Patty's day. I was out for dinner with a friend and after coming in from the cold to an Irish restaurant , I was freezing, suddenly not waning the usually cold beer, I asked the waiter what would be the best drink to warm me up, he suggested an Irish coffee. I fell in love, started now making them at home on cold nights.
severs 2
Divide 2 tsp sugar ( some people prefer brown sugar) and 2 once Irish whiskey between two coffee mugs. Stir in 2 cups hot strong brewed coffee. In a small bowl beat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 tsp creme de menthe until thickened. Gentle spoon into top of drinks allowing cream to float, sever immediately
This sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing on Foodie Friends Friday. Please come back by Sunday to vote.
